The Palos Heights Police Department is looking for individuals who are interested in becoming crossing guards. Interested individuals must be available Monday-Friday for both morning and afternoon school crossings, as well as for occasional early release or late start days. The current pay rate is $14.13/hour and crossing guards typically work between 10-20 hours a week depending on assignment and school schedules. Applicants must be over 18 and be able to pass a background investigation, including fingerprints.
